Abstract

The Indonesian Shellfish Sanitation System provides for the safety and quality of shellfish produced or imported in the country, the protection of the areas where they are coltivated from the presence of polluting agents, the control over freshwater pollution, the certification of origin and health profile of molluscs imported.
