Abstract

The Decree provides for the importation of fish alien species in the territory of Indonesia, via harbour, seaport, airport, as long as the imported species comply with the quarantine requirements, health certification and be issued and provided with the necessary documentation of the originating country stating its being disease or pest-free, healthy and quarantined. The species entering the country must also be issued with all the information related to the importers, dealers or trader and special testing aimed to evaluate the chance of fish alien species survival and reproduction and adaptation to local conditions.
