The private company shall be a company whose forest concession has expired and is not renewed and/or up-stream timber processing companies. The joint venture shall have a duration of maximum two years. Pending the joint venture agreement, the areas shall be handed over by the Ministry of Forest to the state-owned company. Approval of the Minister of Forests shall be obtained if operations other than forest logging are foreseen in the agreement.
