The Decree concerns: mountain areas in forest reserves; national and local forest reserves; different types of protected forest; registration of protected forest land; activities for the proper management of a protected forest area, including: mapping and geological survey, labelling of trees and plant species, fighting forest fires, protection of prohibited areas, protection of wildlife habitats, control of pollution; categories of use of forest reserves, and permitted activities, including timber collection under permission; transformation and management of forest resources; forest service and roles of authorities in charge of forest management; inspection of forest reserves.
