This Decree enters into force on the date of publication.
Abstract

This Decree creates the National Forest of "São Francisco", within the State of Acre. It consists of 6 articles establishing the aforesaid forest area (specifying its geographical coordinates) the purposes of which are: a sustainable exploitation of its natural renewable resources, a management and protection of water resources and wildlife biodiversity, etc. Control and management of this forestry area shall be under the competence of the Institution for Environment 'IBAMA'.
