Abstract This Decree, composed of 4 articles, declares of social interest, for the purposes of the agrarian reform, the following rural properties in the State of Bahia: ""Fazenda Vavá", in the Municipality of Uruçuca; "Fazenda Lagoa de Dentro I e II", in the Municipality of Ourolândia; "Fazenda Santa Luzia", in the Municipality of Ourolândia; "Riacho das Palmeiras e outros", in the Municipality of Iguaí; "Fazenda Paracatu e outras", in the Municipality of Água Fria; "Fazenda Ferradura", in the Municipality of Barra; "Fazenda Nova Galícia", in the Municipality of Una. The Decree establishes the competence of the National Institute for the Agriculture Reform (INCRA) to promote and supervise the expropriation of the aforementioned rural lands.
