Abstract This Decree creates the National Park of Tarrafes de Cacheu. It consists of 23 articles, establishing objectives to be met in order to preserve the ecosystem, to safeguard endangered animals and migratory species and to manage the resources within the coastal zone of the Rio Cacheu. It defines 3 areas: (1) preservation areas; (2) middle areas; (3) durable development areas. It establishes the limits of these protected areas, laying down the geographical borders and authorized activities to be performed in compliance with the Regulation in force. Full text Portuguese
