This Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Decree, composed of 6 articles, grants to the Company "Geração Céu Azul S.A." a 35 year-concession for hydropower generation of the Hydroelectric Plant "Baixo Iguaçu". It establishes terms and conditions of the above mentioned concession for the exploitation of electric energy through hydropower generation on the low-stretch of the Iguazu River, within the municipalities of Capanema and Capitão Leônidas Marques, in the State of Paraná. The electric energy produced will be commercialized by the concessionary, according to Law No. 9.074 of 7 July 1995 and Law No. 10.848 of 15 March 2004, Decree No. 2.003 of 10 September 1996, and Decree No. 5.163 of 30 July 2004.
