Abstract This Decree, composed of six articles, institutes the National Forest of Trairão, located within the Municipalities of Rurópolis, Trairão and Itaituba, in Pará State. The aim is to grant a sustainable and multiple uses of forest resources, the protection of water resources and biodiversity, as well as support to the development of methods for sustainable use of natural resources.
