Abstract This Decree, composed of 5 articles, institutes the National Forest of Jacundá, located within the Municipalities of Porto Velho and Candeias do Jamari, in Rondônia State. The aim is to grant a sustainable and multiple use of forest resources and of scientific research, with special regards to the methods for a sustainable use of native forests.
