The Plan contains measures aimed at reducing the the impact of fishing industry on mollusk bivalves (clams Venus spp. Chamelea gallina). These include management measures (maximum number of authorized vessels; adoption of maximum daily catch indicators; etc); certification and selection measures of the clam stock; provisions requiring the adoption of monitoring and recording systems (VMS; AIS; GPS); restocking areas and monitoring system aimed at ensuring repopulation process is going well.
