According to the Decree, the BV Quality Inspection Animal Sector performs the following task: taking samples from cadavers of sheep, goats and cattle for monitoring certain transmissible spongiform encephalopathies. The Decree also concerns: BV Quality Inspection Animal Sector duty to report to the Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality; Ministerial right to be informed on activities and performances of the authorised body.
