Article 1 deals with the organization, formation and management of the General Authority for Maritime Ports as the following: (1) Consultant of Administrative Board, Internal Revision Office and the Director of Office of President of Administrative Board under the control of the President of Administrative Board; (2) Administration of Marketing and Communication, Consultant of Port Affairs, Consultant of Free Zones and Consultant of Legal Affairs under the control of the Director-General; (3) Administration of Maritime Safety and Administration of Ship Registration under the control of Director-General Assistant for Maritime Affairs; (4) Administration of Trade Affairs and Administration of Port Affairs, Security and Technical Services under the control of the Director-General Assistant for Port Affairs; (5) Administration of Finance Resources and Accounting, Administration of Human Resources and Services and Administration of Data Technology under the control of the Director-General Assistant for Services; (6) Administration of Free Zones and Administration of Affair Development under the control of the Director-General Assistant of Free Zones Affairs. Article 2 decrees the abrogation of Decree No. 28 of 2007 on the organization of the aforementioned Authority.
