Abstract This Decree, as in accordance with the provision of the Bulgarian Food Law and with the provisions of the Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the provision of food information to consumers, here adopts the Ordinance on the provision of information to consumers about food. The adopted Ordinance shall determine: 1. the requirements to the indications or markings, identifying the batch, to which a given food belongs; 2. national measures for the provision of information about the foods to the consumers according to article 44 of the above mentioned Regulation (EU) № 1169/2011 of the European Parliament (including packaging and food labelling).
