Abstract This Resolution consisting of 4 articles aims at establishing conditions to import into Kuwait fresh and chilled shrimps, both fished and bred, across land, air, and sea ports. It provides that (i) are packaged in closed cork boxes, with a printed sticker bearing the stamp of the country of origin; (ii) are accompanied by certificates of identity and of origin that comply with the requests of the competent authorities; (iii) each shipment is provided with a permit issued by the Public Authority of Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources; (iv) bred shrimps must also be accompanied by a veterinary certificate; and (v) in case of transport by sea, the cork boxes must be inserted into thermally insulated and refrigerated containers.
