The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of “Ostrova Duleby”biosphere reserve: 1) land reclamation and any other activity causing change of landscape and the existing hydrological regime; 2) damage and annihilation of shrubbery and forest plantations and disturbance of soil; 3) burning out dry vegetation; 4) water abstraction for irrigation, industrial water supply, discharge of sewage and waste disposal in water bodies; 5) clearing of riverside natural growth except for recreational areas; 6) industrial fisheries; 7) setting up tourist camps. The proclamation of “Ostrova Duleby” biosphere reserve shall not entail the expropriation of land. The regional executive bodies shall be the managing authority of “Ostrova Duleby” biosphere reserve.
