Abstract

This Decree establishes sanitary and hygienic requirements for quality and safety of food additives, and also requirements for compliance with the aforesaid norms in the process of circulation of food additives and foodstuffs. The aforesaid requirements shall be applicable in the process of elaboration, industrial manufacturing, import and export of food additives, and also at all stages of circulation of foodstuffs. These requirements shall be mandatory for the manufacturers, suppliers and traders of food additives, alimentary raw materials and foodstuffs. The manufacturer shall be liable for correct use of food additives, quality thereof and contents in the end products. The use of food additives as cover-up of spoilage or poor quality of alimentary raw materials or end products.
