Abstract This Decree, consisting of 48 articles divided into nine Chapters and four Annexes, regulates Law No. 11.952 to provide for land regularization of rural areas in the framework of the Legal Amazon, established by Complementary Law No. 124 of 3 January 2007, and of the National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform (INCRA). The provisions of this Decree apply to land regularization of: occupations outside the Legal Amazon in the rural areas under INCRA management, except for the provisions of art. 11 of Law 11.952; and remaining areas of projects with colonization characteristics created by INCRA, inside or outside the Legal Amazon, prior to 10 October 1985. The provisions of this Decree apply subsidiarily to other areas not described in art. 3 of Law No. 11.952, under the jurisdiction of the Union in the Legal Amazon, which will be regularized by means of the instruments provided for in the patrimonial legislation.
