Abstract This Decree, consisting of 6 articles, implements provisions of the National Policy on Waste Management, approved by Law No. 12.305. It establishes rules to ensure the equality of inspection and compliance with obligations imposed on manufacturers, importers, distributors and traders of products, their waste and their packaging subject to compulsory reverse logistics. Art. 2 establishes that manufacturers, importers, distributors and traders of products, their residues and their packaging referred to in the caput of art. 33 of the Law are required to structure and implement reverse logistics systems, considering the same obligations attributable to the signatories and adherents of a sectoral agreement of the Union.
