Abstract

This Decree establishes that approximately allowable residue limits of concentration of chemical substances utility, potable and recreational waterbodies shall be provisional hygienic standard validated by the Chief State Sanitary Inspector. It shall be calculated in accordance with calculation and express-experimental methods of estimates of toxicity and shall be used in the course of preventive sanitary supervision over projected enterprises or enterprises under construction, and also over water treatment facilities in the course of upgrading or re-construction. The period of validity of approximately allowable residue limits of concentration of chemical substances utility, potable and recreational waterbodies shall be 3 years, after which they shall be revised or substituted with permanent maximum allowable residue limits (MRL).
