Abstract

This Decree establishes that maximum allowable residue limits in potable water and water for domestic usage establishes that the allowed concentration shall not have negative impact on human life and health and shall not deteriorate hygienic conditions of water management. Putting in operation of enterprises, works and technological lines shall be authorized in the presence of validated maximum allowable residue limits in potable water and water for domestic usage, and also of the validated methods of identification and calculation of the presence of chemical substances in water. This Decree classifies hazardous substances by risk classes. Annexes contain the list of substances with indices of maximum allowable residue limits.
