This Decree enters into force one month after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Decree establishes the modalitis of sanitary and veterinary inspection of foodstuffs of vegetable origin at food markets to be performed by authorized veterinary and sanitary laboratories. The following produce shall be subject to mandatory inspection: (a) vegetables (fresh, sour, pickled); (b) greenery, fresh fruits, berries (fresh, dried, air-dried, soaked); and (c) seeds and mushrooms (fresh, dried). Inspection shall include: (a) organoleptical properties in accordance with indices specified in the Annex 1; (b) nitrates contents; and (c) radionuclides contents.
