Abstract This Decree amends the National Council for Food and Nutritional Security (CONSEA). Amended article 3 establishes new composition of the CONSEA, consisting of sixty members and alternates, of which two thirds of civil society representatives and one third of governmental representatives, as provided in art. 11 of Law 11.346. The governmental representation of the CONSEA will be exercised by the holders of the following organs: II - Ministry of Social and Agrarian Development; III - Ministry of Justice and Citizenship; IX - Ministry of Labour; XI - Ministry of Planning, Development and Management; XII - Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations and Communications; XV - Ministry of Cities; XVI - Secretary of Government of the Presidency of the Republic; XVII - Special Secretariat for Policies for Women; XVIII - Special Secretariat for Policies to Promote Racial Equality; XIX - Special Secretariat for Human Rights; and XX - Special Secretariat for Family Agriculture and Agrarian Development.
