Abstract This Decree approves the Regulation for Ecological Tourism. The Regulation, consisting of 6 Chapters, establishes the legal regime for obtaining an authorization for performing ecological tourism development within adequate specific areas, located in the National territory or on waters under National jurisdiction. This Regulation applies for: settlement and exploitation of tourism facilities, activities and lodging services, including restaurant. It also regulates any activity related to touristic environmental sector; use of tourism services, develop ecological tourism sector involving local communities within the areas destined to ecological tourism.
