The scope of the Decree shall be to ensure consumer protection. Maximum allowable contents of food additives in foodstuffs are set forth in the Annex 1 and, if for some food additives are not set forth maximum allowable contents, then food additives listed in the Annex 2 can be used in unregulated quantities.
