Abstract

This Decree establishes hygienic and sanitary requirements for collecting, processing and vending facilities of mushrooms, and also for technological processes and production control. Technological equipment and packaging materials shall be manufactured with the use of materials authorized for contact with foodstuffs. The list of edible mushrooms growing on the national territory and authorized for collecting and processing is supplied in the Annex 1. Procuring organizations shall be authorized to purchase only listed mushrooms and purchase of other species of mushrooms shall be prohibited. Annex 2 contains the list of non-edible and poisonous mushrooms. Fresh mushrooms shall be classified as perishable foodstuffs and as such shall be subject to treatment. It shall be prohibited to store mushrooms untreated for the next day.
