Decree No. 83 prohibiting the use in stockfarming of certain substances having a hormonal or thyrostatic action and of ß-agonists.

Having regard to the provisions laid down at the European Community level in Directive 96/22/EC, this Decree prohibits (a) the placing on the market of stilbenes, stilbene derivatives, their salts and esters and thyrostatic substances for administering to animals of all species; (b) the placing on the market of beta-agonists for administering to animals the flesh and products which are intended for human consumption for purposes other than the administering for therapeutic purposes and for zoote
