This Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Decree amends Decree No. 4.871 on the National Contingency Plan to fight oil pollution in waters under National jurisdiction. This Plan, establishes responsibilities, organizational structure and defines baselines, procedures and actions, aiming at allowing the fulfilment of a coordinated action of public administration institutions and private entities to improve their capacity to respond to pollution accidents caused by oil contaminating water under National jurisdiction, minimize environmental damages and protecting human health.
