Abstract This Decree establishes the Internal Regulation of the Institution for Climate Change and Environmental Services (IMC), under the supervision of the State Secretariat for the Environment (SEMA). The objective of the IMC is to contribute, through the regulation of SISA programmes, sub-programmes, action plans and special projects, to the maintenance and expansion of the offer for the following environmental services: the sequestration, conservation, maintenance and increase of the stock and the reduction of the flux of carbon; conservation of natural scenic beauty; conservation of socio-biodiversity; conservation of water and water services; climate regulation; cultural appreciation and traditional ecosystem knowledge; and soil conservation and improvement.
