Abstract This Decree implements for National implementation on Brazilian territory the Resolution No. 2036 of 22 February 2012, adopted by the Security Council of the UN, adopting necessary measures prohibiting the imports of vegetal charcoal originated from Somalia. The above mentioned Resolution, consisting of 24 articles and 1 Annex, specifies the legal framework to prohibit vegetal charcoal trade between Brazil and Somalia in order to prevent any form of piracy attack.
