Abstract

This Decree establishes sanitary and hygienic requirements for ensuring air quality in the inhabited areas and recreational areas in the process of projecting, construction, re-construction and operation of economic entities and enterprises, and other activities related to emissions of pollutants to the atmospheric air. Location for industrial sites shall be selected with the consideration of aeroclimatic characteristics and regular patterns of spreading of emissions in the atmospheric air, with a view of ensuring quality of the atmospheric air in the inhabited and recreational areas. Instalment, projecting, construction and re-construction of industrial sites emitting pollutants not envisaged by the validated maximum allowed concentration limits and approximately allowed concentration limit, or exceeding both of them, shall be prohibited.
