This Decree enters into force on 19 July 2012.
Abstract

This Decree validates Sanitary rules and regulations “Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for organizations manufacturing meat and meat-based products”, specifying requirements for processing cycle of meat and meat-based products, processing technology and hygiene of staff and workplace. In particular it establishes the requirements for passage of alimentary raw materials, storage and transportation of ready meat and meat-based products and food waste removal and disposal. Disinfection and disinsection of meat and meat-based processing facilities shall be performed through application of certified disinfecting solutions. Packaging materials must not be source of pollution and must be stored in a manner avoiding pollution thereof.
