This Decree enters into force immediately.
Abstract

This Decree regulates public and private water supply services in order to manage water resources, to supply potable water and to implement the National Water Policy. It consists of 4 chapters divided into 36 articles defining "water supply service"; establishing the legal framework for water supply entities; approving the statutes of new water institutions, specifying competencies, duties and conditions to be met in order to obtain a water supply licence, etc. It establishes the rights and obligations of water users, fees to be paid and quality standards to be satisfied.
