Decree No. 729 of 1991 relative to fisheries specialists on board of seismic vessels on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The scope of this Decree is to protect fisheries interests in marine areas where seismic activities for purposes of petroleum exploration or exploitation are carried out. The seismic vessel shall observe appropriate distance from fishing vessels and from fixed or floating gear.
