This decree validates the Regulation on hygienic expertise and registration of foodstuff originating from genetically modified sources. The Ministry of Health establishes the form of Registration certificate for these products. This Decree sanctions that the Registration certificate is the document that authorizes import, production and distribution in sales network of genetically modified products. This Decree is obligatory for all organizations, enterprises, juridical and physical persons that import, produce and distribute foodstuff originating from genetically modified sources. The Chief Sanitary Inspector, who exercises the supreme control over its application, signs this Decree.
