This Decree enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Decree sets forth safety requirements for closed-circuit systems in the process of performance of second, third and fourth levels risk work with GMO with a view of prevention of leakage thereof to natural environment. Edifices and facilities performing work with GMO must be separated in two zones: clean area and contaminated area. Authorized GMO-related activities shall include: (a) research of livestock (infection, autopsy); (b) keeping of infected livestock; (c) treatment GMO; and (d) collection of isolated GMO strains. Official in charge of GMO-related laboratory must ensure application of safety instructions and conduct safety-related briefings with the staff.
