This Decree enters into force on 5 January 2012.
Abstract

This Decree, consisting of 9 articles, creates the National Centre of Biotechnology and Biological Science (CNBB). It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned institution, entitled to: carry out technical and scientific research on matters related to Biotechnology and Biological Science; promote the transfer of technologies and know-how in favour of local communities; disseminate the results of such a investigations; promote training in Biotechnology and Biological Science sectors; elaborate, propose and implement research projects and programmes assessing the potentiality of Biotechnology and Biological Science in order to improve public and private sectors; propose, if requested, policies and legislations aiming at the promotion and development of Biotechnology and Biological Science in the country; manage human, technical, material and financial resources, etc.
