Abstract This Decree establishes the creation of the Price Guarantee Programme for Family Agriculture (PGPAF) referred to in Law No. 11.326 of 24 July 2006, and art. 13 of Law No. 11.322 of 13 July 2006, for operations contracted under the National Programme for Strengthening Family Agriculture (PRONAF). The PGPAF aims to ensure the remuneration of production costs to family farmers financed by PRONAF on the occasion of the amortization of their credit operations with financial agents. The guarantee consists of a discount voucher representing the difference between the guarantee prices defined annually and the trading prices practiced in the period prior to the amortization of the financing. The guarantee price will be defined based on the variable production cost of each product, calculated according to the methodology defined by the PGPAF Management Committee, increased or decreased by a variation of up to ten percent, not being able to be lower than the minimum price of said product, defined annually by the Federal Government.
