Abstract The aim of this Decree is to regulate the registration of pesticides. This Decree is composed of 9 articles. Article 1 defines the following requirements and conditions for registration of pesticides and other agricultural medicines: (a) general information regarding name and address of producers or importers; (b) official certificates; (c) trade name of the pesticide; (d) the use of parasitic, insecticide, plant growth regulators; (e) type of registration; (f) certificate of use and registration of agricultural pesticides; (g) chemical and biological requirements; (h) method of analysis; (i) toxicity, harms and epidemic; (j) correct use, storage, package; and (k) technical file of the pesticide and cancellation of pesticide. Article 3 entrusts the Plant Pharmacy Department with the competence of the registration. Article 5 entitles the Agricultural Pesticides Committee to issue the Registration Certificate.
