This Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Decree, consisting of 10 Chapters, organizes the Secretariat of Energy of the State of São Paulo. The Decree establishes duties, composition and responsibilities of this institution aiming at: planning and implementing State policies on energy and mining, carrying out research, planning, construction, implementation of production systems, processing, transport, storage and supply of energy; water dams for hydropower generation; controlling production services, of energy; designing and implementation of research plans and programmes and development of new sources of energy; study and exploitation of mineral resources, etc.
