Abstract

This Decree introduces measures to prevent and limit the spreading of and to eradicate infectious diseases in aquatic organisms at the slaughtering and processing stages. "Aquatic organisms" are defined as all aquatic animals, excluding amphibians, reptiles, mammals, and birds. The text consists of 20 sections, divided into 6 Chapters: Scope and sphere of application and definitions (I); Slaughter premises (II); Approval (III); Operation of fish slaughterhouses and processing installations (IV); Exemptions and appeal (V); Penal provisions and entry into force (VI).
