Abstract This Decree, consisting of 7 articles, creates the National Committee for the implementation of the International Code of de Vessel and Harbours Safety (CN-ISPS). It specifies composition, duties and tasks of the above mentioned inter-ministerial institution, coordinated by the National Direction of Mercantile Marine and Harbours, which is entitled to: create the necessary conditions to implement the security levels to National vessels and harbours; organize and perform sensitization sessions; assess the state of preparation of the country for the implementation of the Code ISPS; identify the risks and threats against vessels' and harbours' safety; and implement preventing measures to avoid those risks and threats.
