This Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Decree, consisting of 4 articles, establishes the tree cutting requirements to be satisfied for the species Swietenia macrophylla King. It regulates timber cutting requirements of this tree species and specifies that its exploitation within native, primitive or regenerated forests is permitted only under strict conditions of sustainable management, as established by Decree No. 4.593.
