This Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Decree, composed of four articles, regulates the National electricity production. The attached Regulation is composed of 3 Chapters establishing terms and conditions to produce electricity by the Public Electric System (Sistema Eléctrico Público (SEP)]. The concession to perform this activity must be issued by the Government and the Council of Ministers, which will be responsible for granting the contract through a permit issued by the local authority.
