Abstract

This Decree sets forth hygienic requirements for processing facilities of the enterprises manufacturing rectified ethyl alcohol and liquors, and also establishes requirements for handling and storage thereof. The scope of this Decree shall be to ensure quality and safety of ethyl alcohol and liquors. Validation of the new types and brands of liquors, putting to production and trade thereof shall be prohibited without prior hygienic evaluation of the aforesaid produce attesting safety thereof for public health. All the new types of liquors shall be subject to compulsory hygienic registration. Safety and hygienic requirements shall be also applicable to packaging and bottling facilities and materials.
