Abstract The aim of this Decree is to protect marine wealth, the environment and wildlife. This Decree is composed of 3 articles. Article 1 reorganizes the General Authority for the Protection of Marine Wealth, Environment and Wildlife as follows: (a) Administration Affairs and Finance shall be placed under the control of the President of the Authority; (b) the General Department for Marine Wealth Protection shall be divided into Marine Wealth Department and Fish Wealth Department which shall be placed under the control of the Director-General of Marine Wealth Protection; (c) the General Department for Environment and Wildlife Protection shall include the Environment Control Department, Environment Projecting and Assessing Department and the Natural Protected Areas Department; and (d) the Maintenance and Services Department shall be placed under the control of the Director-General of Environment and Wildlife Protection. Article 2 repeals all texts and rules which are incompatible with this Decree.
