Abstract The aim of this Decree is to protect marine wealth, the environment and wildlife. This Decree is composed of 3 articles. Article 1 reorganizes the General Authority for the Protection of Marine Wealth, Environment and Wildlife as follows: (a) the Public Relation and Information Department which shall be placed under the control of the President of the Authority; (b) the General Department for Marine Wealth Protection shall be divided into Marine Resources Department and Fish Resources Department; (c) the General Department for Environment and Wildlife Protection shall include the Environment Control Department, the Environment Projecting and Assessment Department and the Natural Protected Areas Department; and (d) the General Department for Resources and Services shall be divided into Human Resources and Finance Department and Services and Maintenance Department.
