Abstract

This Decree establishes hygienic requirements for processing and manufacturing of meat products and other products of animal origin, and also hygienic requirements for meat-processing enterprises, producing or re-packaging meat products and other foodstuffs of animal origin. Meat processing shall be authorized at certified enterprises complying with the provisions and requirements of this Decree and posted under the supervision of Food and Veterinary Service. It also sets forth storage requirements for raw materials (carcasses of the slaughtered animals and animal byproducts) of animal origin. The Decree contains the list of organs of animals that are prohibited for utilization for processing of meat products.
