This Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Decree, consisting of 3 Chapters and 1 Annex, establishes offences and sanctions to be paid for pollution caused by waste of oil and other harmful substances in waters under National jurisdiction. It applies for any illegal activity according to Law No. 9.966 aiming at avoiding environmental damages and protecting human health.
