Abstract

This Decree applies to Norwegian and foreign fishing and fish transport vessels of over 24 metres of total length operating in the territorial waters and inner waters of Svalbard. These vessels shall have a satellite-tracking system installed on board in accordance with section 3. Section 4 provides for measures in the circumstance that the system fails. Alternative use of reporting shall be used and the vessel is under obligation to repair or substitute equipment within a month. (7 sections)
